Southern Downs Heritage Festival 2018
20 - 29 April Location Across the Southern Downs The Southern Downs Heritage Festival celebrates the history of the Southern Downs as part of the National Trust Heritage Festival Queensland. The theme this year is “My Culture, My Story”. Warwick was the first free settlement in Queensland and the whole area was opened up by Patrick Leslie and his two brothers
Warwick State High School Reunion 1957-1961 Students
A Warwick State High School reunion luncheon of past students from the period 1957 to 1961 is being held at the Warwick Gold Club from 11.30 am on Friday 27 April The cost of the smorgasbord luncheon is $20 per person, payable on the day, and the invitation is extended to all partners and spouses RSVP by Wednesday 18 April
3rd Allora Autumn Festival
The Allora Autumn Festival is held on the last weekend of April in Allora. During the festival they hold markets to coincide with events that are held around their historic town. Allora is home to Mary Poppins House, where Pamela Goff (PL Travers) grew up and Allora is also the final resting place for her father, Travers Robert Goff. Events

Ballandean will be having their Anzac twilight service on Wednesday the 25th of April at the pyramid. As usual the kids from Ballandean state school will be reading stories and singing songs. We have Jenni playing bugle John and Lisa Vichi playing bagpipes. There will be food and bar available. And as usual the $500 dollars raised will be donated
