Condamine River Road closed

Due to safety concerns for road users with recent rain and rising water levels, the Condamine River Road has been temporarily closed following an inspection by Southern Downs Regional Council officers.

Council will continue to regularly check the conditions and will reopen the road once it is safe to travel on.

Visitors in the area should take care around water crossings which are subject to fast changing depths and flows after rainfall.

Access to Killarney via Boonah is still available through Spring Creek Road.

Council is mindful that this area is a natural treasure and the public road is part of the delicate ecosystem.
