Over two days and two venues more than 7000 library books will go on sale as the Southern Downs Libraries clear their shelves to make way for new stock.

It is an ideal opportunity to bag a bargain while shelving to celebrate Children’s Book Week and Seniors Weeks in August.

Items include adult junior and young adult fiction, non fiction, large print, DVDs and CDs.

Everything will be priced to sell and staff will be open to best offers and haggling.

There will be books and resources for sale for all ages across a range of genres and subjects , everyone to come along and bag a bargain and support your libraries
