Kent Saddlery’s Heritage Day – Sat, 2nd December, 9:30am til 3pm.
Live broadcast with Ten FM between 10am and 1pm.
Demonstrations all day…….shearing @ 10 & 11am, whipmaking, blacksmithing, leather stitching/moulding, wood chop @ 12 & 1pm, chainsaw post rip @ 2pm, condamine bell making, spinning and weaving. Heritage machinery will be on display,’ The Men’s Shed’, design your own wooden signs and more.
Live entertainment from PENNY DAVIES & ROGER ILOTT between 10am and 2pm, and local bush poet, Jack Drake (www.jackdrake.com.au/), will be heard throughout the day, along with some whipcracking!
Libby Blomfield – author of children’s book ‘Flat Out-Far Out’ will be… storytelling, followed by a puppet show at 10am, 11am & 12pm. (Libby Blomfield Books)
Jumping castle, face painting, leather stamping, penny rubbings, colouring in competition, animal nursery plus more for the kids.
The Australian Breastfeeding Association Tenterfield/Granite Belt Group will have a feed and nappy change tent, with a toddler play area.
BBQ, softdrinks, coffee, tea, homebake and fruit available for purchase throughout the day!
