Short story competition:
* 300-3000 words – theme ‘Granite Belt or one of its towns’, to be interpreted as the writer sees fit.
* 1.5 line spacing – Times New Roman or similar font
* Open to residents of Granite Belt and/or members of SWG. Open to individuals of high school age and older only.
* Free entry. Limited to one entry per person.
* Cover page to include: writer’s name, contact email address, phone number, title of story.
* Story is to include title and page numbering only (no identifying details of the author to be noted).
* Prize is a book voucher courtesy of judge and patron, Karenlee Thompson. Winner to be announced in Stanthorpe Border Post and on SWG Facebook page in December 2017.
* Printed entries to be submitted at SWG meeting 5pm Wednesday 1 November 2017 at CDS Youth Centre (15 Hilton St, Stanthorpe). Anyone unable to attend may email their entry by 5pm Wednesday 1 November 2017 to SWG chairperson: jess_andreatta@yahoo.com
