HEAVY HORSE DAY YANGAN OCTOBER 15th

Welcome to Mick Bradford’s Heavy Horse Day, an event to showcase farming equipment from the 1800’s and 1900’s in the days when the horse power was really the power of the horse. See examples of farming equipment from the Sunshine Harvesters Works, Massey Harris, International Harvester Company, McCormick Deering and other manufacturers.                                                                                      Also see other farming activities on show from the 1800’s and 1900’s. The Heavy Horse Day is held on the outskirts of Yangan, a small township east of Warwick, and approximately 2 hours from Brisbane, Queensland.                                                 Yangan is situated approx 22 km’s east of Warwick. The city of Warwick is accessible from various directions from Brisbane to the east using the Cunningham Highway, from Toowoomba to the North, from Goondiwindi to the West from the Newell, and from Stanthorpe in the South via the New England Highway.
