Southern Downs Industry Education Association Inc. offers people within the community a chance to upskill for either no cost, or minimal cost, depending on the course requirements. Check out these courses below, and if you do not have any previous qualifications, you may qualify for FREE training!
SDIEA has the following courses available to those who are aged 15 to 19 years old under the Skilling Queenslanders for Work Initiative:
- Certificate I in Business (rolling start)
- Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure (this program is starting April 16th)
- Certificate II in Hospitality (rolling start)
- Certificate II in Retail Services (rolling start)
- Certificate II in Information, digital media and technology (rolling start)
SDIEA has the following courses available to those who aged 15 to 65 years old under the Skilling Queenslanders for Work Initiative:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (this program is starting April 17th)
- Certificate II in Hospitality (this program is starting every fortnight)
- Certificate II in Food Processing (this program is starting every fortnight)
- Certificate II in Horticulture (starting around the 1st of May )
- Certificate II in Engineering (taking enrolments)
