REGULATIONS
All riders participate at their own risk.
All riders must sign an indemnity and waiver before the start of the day – available at the Nominations office
Open to PCAQ and Non-PCAQ members
Horse Health Declarations are to be handed in with nominations
Neat and Tidy suitable riding clothing to be worn
Safety Helmets compliant with PCAQ regulations must be worn by all ages
PCAQ Rules will apply – Please check the PCAQ website further details
Participants/ horses riding/acting in a dangerous manner inside/ outside the ring will be disqualified
DISCLAIMER Neither the organising committee or any contest to which these rules apply, nor the PCAQ, accept any liability for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, ground, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.
RESERVATION OF RIGHT
The organisers reserve the right:
To cancel any class or event
To divide any class
To alter the advertised times
To refuse entry, with or without stating the reason
To transfer competitors between sections of a class
To combine classes if less than 3 competitors
Precedence will be given to unaided riders over aided riders
Led ponies/horses must be led from the shoulder from the ground. Anyone leading in a dangerous manner will incur the disqualification of both competitor and person leading for the rest of the event. A repetition by the same competitor/leader will mean disqualification for the remainder of the day’s program
The program may not be held up for gear changes
Competitors riding in a dangerous manner or exercising undue cruelty or using bad language will be eliminated
Please notify and pay secretary if you wish to camp overnight and use stables. Camping fee $10/night
JUDGES DECISION WILL BE FINAL Protest fee of $50 must be lodged within 30minutes of conclusion of event.
Any Age Led riders will not receive points for Age Champion – each rider will be allocated 1 point for the day for participation to go towards their clubs overall total points.
CLUB INSTRUCTORS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GEAR CHECKING RIDERS PRIOR TO COMPETITION
No alcohol to be served/consumed during the program
