Under the tutelage of our own Julie you will learn how to do 12 of the most common stitches and turn them into a sweet bird and tea cup design. \nThis course is designed for beginners with no previous stitching\, but is also great for those who want to refresh their skills or just want to stitch with company. \nJulie will show you the products and techniques to use to transfer your design\, and then how to complete each of the stitches. \nThis course will go for 3 weeks on a Tuesday morning from 10-12. $60 includes your kit\, printed materials and 6hrs of lessons. \n Spots are limited and will fill up fast.

SUMMARY:CWA Border Division 2018 Art Contest - Stanthorpe
DESCRIPTION:19 June at 11:30–15:00\n CWA Hall\, Victoria Street\, Stanthorpe\n\n\nFinals of all divisions contests. Entries to be in before 9 am. \nPaintings must not exceed 800 mm x 800 mm in size and all must be original works by the entrant and completed within the last two years.\nEntry fee is $5.00.  The three categories are  Still Life\,  Contemporary\, Landscape\n\n\nThe paintings will be judged at the Finals Day by The Director of the Stanthorpe Art Gallery\, Mary Finlay.\nFirst and second prize winners in each category go forward to the QCWA State Conference to be held in Brisbane late October for final judging.\n\nFor more information please contact Penny Campbell-Wilson on 0408 767 558 or\nemail ipcw7@bigpond.com
