DESCRIPTION:2 dates · 29 May – 31 May\n\nStanthorpe Little Theatre Co\, 20 Connor St\, Stanthorpe\nDo you have what it takes to shine at our local talent show? Do you have a dance routine\, a juggling act\, a flea circus\, a stand-up comedy act\, a mime\, a song\, play an instrument a magic act\, ventriloquist act or any other variety styled act you’d love to share on stage? \nStanthorpe Little Theatre is delighted to be hosting a talent show for stars aged from 5 to 18\, with two separate age sections; 10 years and under and 11 to 18 years. Acts can be solo\, duets or small groups. \nAs this will be presented and ‘judged’ ( using scripted supportive and encouraging feedback) by children under 18\, we are also seeking 5 actors to play the parts of audience liaison\, presenter\, and 3 judges. \nThere will be two auditions\, Tuesday 29th May and Thursday 31 May from 4 pm to 6 pm. Participants will be asked to participate in a voice warm up\, a short movement activity and theatre styled game before presenting their ‘talent’. Participants are encouraged to come to both audition dates\, should they wish. Actors auditioning only for the judge and presenter roles will be auditioned first.\nParents and supporting adults are invited to be part of the audition audience but respectfully asked to be encouraging and non-judgemental. \nActs do not need to be completely polished ( can have room to improve or learn lines/ expand on) or have costumes at auditions. A willingness to participate\, practice and improve their act is a must. \nBring props or costumes if you like\, but these can be put together as the rehearsal is going on. For dance auditions\, bring own music and way to play it ( CD player). \nRehearsals will be scheduled so that specific acts can practice with the director and cast are not sitting around doing nothing. \nThe whole cast is not required for all rehearsals until close to opening night. \nRehearsals will be generally from 4 – 5.15\nAll cast members required on Thurs 7th \nActs will be notified if they are required on these dates – 14 June\, 19 June\, 21 June\, 26 June\, 28 June \, 17 July\, 19 July\, 24 July \, 31 July\, 2 August \nAll cast members required 7th August\, 9th August\, 14th August.\nDress Rehearsal will be 16th August from 5.30 till finish.\nPerformances will be Sat 18th August and Sat 25th August
