This group exhibition depicts their national anthem “Advance Australia Fair”. The first exhibition for this thriving community art group, their idea is to display photographs relating to each verse in the anthem.

The Allora Photography Group aims to encourage, promote and advance the local photography culture/scene by providing for, arranging and encouraging meeting to facilitate the exchange of ideas from the mutual improvements of its members in their knowledge and practice of photography in as many fields as practicable.

Above all the Allora Photography Group wishes to promote the social and artistic enjoyment of photography as a hobby through competition, technical lectures and outings irrespective of the individual member’s current methods of image capture or level of equipment, skills or expertise.
