There is a couple of lovely people at The Summit (Stanthorpe) area their names are Chris & Ian who dedicate their time to help the needy.
They have a corner called “Food is Free” it is to provide a community a space where everyone can access nutritious veggies, taking what you need and leave some for others.
If you have excess in the garden, PLEASE bring it along to share. Sometimes there is herbs, animal manure and worm tea (for your garden.)
Chris and Ian, sometimes have a Garage Sale, Clothing Sale and a demonstration on the loom to make mats for the homeless using plastic bags.
